Quick History
Troop 283 is a Scouts BSA Troop located in Wayzata, Minnesota. We are chartered by Wayzata Community Church. We were founded in 1915 and are the longest continuously chartered Troop in Minnesota. We currently have 60 scouts in the troop. The program is open to everybody from age 11-18. Our current Website was initially started by Evan Nowlin (High School class of 2024) and shortly refined and polished by Aidan Coutu and Thomas Martin (Class of 2025)
